手像彫刻と言う創作を決断して社会に働きかけた時でした。連作への思考の挑戦は不安の連続でもありましたが、独自の木彫刻手法とスタイルを築くことで「人間と手」についての思考を瞑想した世代でした。
This was a period during which I decided to engage in society through the creation of hand sculptures. Although my attempts to tackle the concept of producing a series of works gave me constant anxiety, it was during these years that I created my own, unique techniques and style and this led me to consider and contemplate “the human hand.”
