70代に入り此れまでの格子状の創作を継続しながらも若き日からの手像彫刻の更なる創作に取り組む。大学定年の節目に入りこれを機会にアトリエを私設美術館とし此れまでの作品を展示しました。これまでを振り返りながら彫刻の道標を示す世代に入り、国内での個展のみならず海外での発表にも意欲的に取り組む制作活動に心掛けたいと思っています。
Now in my 70’s, I continue my lattice structure work while immersing myself more deeply into hand sculpture, a passion since my youth. Retirement from university became a turning point when I converted my atelier into a private museum to exhibit my art work. At this age, I can look back on the sculpture signposts in my career while looking forward to creative activities that will not only involve exhibitions in Japan, but include displays of my work overseas.
